The service was very professional and thorough but more importantly for me the optician talked me through the testing and listened to my concerns which was very reassuring . I cannot recommend Frances Opticians more highly and I certainly will not go to another opticians again .

Recently visited the practice, and feel I had a very good service. Receptionist very helpful in finding suitable appointment and Optometrist Barbara was very thorough, explained everything clearly. Very friendly, welcoming environment- would recommend.

Mixed bag. Individually lovely staff, very kind and approachable. However as a business rather inflexible, small selection of frames, particularly good value ones and those for young people. Paid £325 for glasses that were uncomfortable and I was not permitted a refund. Cannot compete price wise with opticians locally such as in Oswestry. I had wanted to support local businesses hence using Francis Opticians but found communication to be poor and costs for checkups and frames just not competitive at all. Decided to go elsewhere. Note: After I approached management with this issue, the refusal was upheld

Excellent service from the lady who answered my call and to Caitlin - the optician who diagnosed the issue and sorted the prescription with the chemist for what they had in stock. Friendly and efficient. Highly recommended 5☆

Visited Chirk practice with a swollen eyelid. Despite not being a regular customer receptionist Lynn promised she’d find me an appointment asap. Appointment offered the following day with Caitlin who did a full examination and provided a care plan and antibiotics, with follow up appointment the following week. Exceptional service - I had previously been to two national opticians who did not provide the same level of care. Thank you both.

I walked into the opticians for the first time. I explained my frames for my existing glasses were broken. Well they couldn't do enough for me. Within 30 minutes I'm walking out of there with brand new frames with my original lenses... Amazing service Buckley I highly recommend you x

Took both my children here for their annual sight tests. Very good service from all the staff. Both my children were comfortable and at ease the whole time.
